Daniel Braun Obituary

SIDNEY - Daniel A. Braun, 81, of Sidney, passed away at Miami Valley Hospital on August 26, 2025. He was born on March 18, 1944, in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Arthur and Mildred (Barhorst) Braun.

On May 15, 1993, Daniel married Torch "Karen" (Glick) Braun, who survives. He is also survived by his son, Dereck (Missy) Braun of Abingdon, Maryland; and five beloved grandchildren: Shannon Greaver, Madisyn Greaver, Danyca Braun, Peyton Braun, and Maggie Stoddard.

Daniel proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years and took great pride in having served his country. He was a member of the American Legion and the Moose, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Eileen Hix officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, where military honors will be conducted. Care and services have been entrusted to Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home - Sidney.
