Mr. Daniel Brown, Age 63, Passed away Monday February 9, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Daniel was born in Delaware, Ohio September 15,1962 to the late Leslie and Wanda Powers Brown. He retired from the United States Army as a SGT. in which he so proudly served. He also retired from the State Highway. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, driving, hunting, coffee, and karate with his grandsons. He was a member of Clarksburg Christian Church. He loved spending time with his pride and joys his grandsons Patrick, Nathan, Jaxon, and his German shepherd Duke.

He was preceded in death beside his parents was his daughter Danielle Brown. Stepdad Dennie Christy. Father-in-law Charlie Cropper. Step-father-in-law Reno McGlone Sr.

Dan is survived by the love of his life Karen Cropper Brown. Three grandsons Patrick Brown, Nathan Brown, and Jaxon Brown. One sister Decelia "Pic" (Terry) Grubaugh. Two Brothers Dwayne (Jane) Brown and William Peters. Mother-in-law Clara Cropper McGlone. Niece and Nephew Miya Grubaugh and Terry Grubaugh Jr. Best friend Adam Snipes.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 Second Street Vanceburg, Ky 41179 with Pastor Tom Cox Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Lewis County Memory Gardens in Black Oak, Kentucky. Military Graveside rites will be accorded by Monte Lewis Stamm VFW Post 5438.

Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services Saturday February 14, 2026 at the Gaydos Funeral Home.
