Daniel J. Brunner, 51, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. He was the husband of Brittany J. Brunner with whom he shared almost 14 years of marriage.

Born July 1, 1973 in Bristol, PA, he was the son of Michael and Katrina Brunner.

A Bucks County native, Dan was raised in Yardley and graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1991. After graduation, Dan enlisted in the United States Army, where he served as an infantry airman for 4.5 years and was honorably discharged in 1996. In the following years, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Phoenix while also working full-time. He was married to his first wife, Jill, from 2002-2011 and they have remained close friends and co-parents over the years.

After moving to Chicago in 2006, Dan was a resident of North Aurora for the last 13 years. Dan had a long career in sales management and was most recently employed as the Vice President of Sales at Perma-Seal. He also owned a flooring company named Floor Hero.

Always charismatic, Dan was best known as a strong willed person you could rely on and confide in. He could fix or build anything, was always quick with a joke and laughed easily with those around him. Dan was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also loved traveling, listening to live music, playing chess and golf, and a glass of nice red wine to unwind at night.

Dan leaves behind his wife Brittany (Schlueter) Brunner and their children, Alarica Brunner and Austin Brunner, as well as his former spouse Jill (Silverstein) Brunner and their child, Devon Brunner. His siblings Michael (Vanessa) Brunner, David Brunner, Joseph Brunner, and Katrina (Brunner) Mullaney; as well as many nieces and nephews.
