Daniel Joseph Callahan Jr.

On December 25 2025 late afternoon, Angels came to take Daniel J. Callahan, Jr., 73 of Reisterstown, MD.
Born June 9 1952 in Baltimore, MD He was the son of late Daniel Callahan, Sr. and Rose Mack Callahan.
Survived by his fiancé of 34 years Gloria Crumbie of Reisterstown; his children, Charles Daniel Callahan and Rose Mary Callahan of Reisterstown; his grandson Robert John of Virginia; his sister, Colleen Saxon of Caritas House of Assisted Living of Baltimore, MD; his nephew, Eddie Saxon; his cousins, Robert Liberatore of Washington, DC and Mary Ann Liberatore. his brother-in-law, David Crumbie and his wife Amy Crumbie of Cockeysville, MD; his sister-in-law, Susan Clark and her husband Richard Clark of Spring Grove PA; and many other nieces and nephews.
He helped his father at a used car dealership, then worked for the IRS until 1996, and finally was a rural carrier for the Lutherville/Timonium, MD post office until his retirement in 2019.
His family will have a memorial service, which will be held at a later date.
