Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain ChapelIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel George Carroll, a cherished husband, esteemed computer technician, and beloved brother. Born on October 16, 1946, in New York, NY, Dan embarked on a journey that would leave an indelible mark on all who knew him. He departed this world to be with his Lord and Savior on July 17, 2025, in Show Low, Arizona.
Daniel was not just a master computer technician; he was a pioneer in the technology industry who contributed his skills to the very early models of computers, including the first Toshiba unit in the valley. Possessing a deep passion for technology, he launched his own computer business, where he shared his expertise with the community. In an era where computers were cumbersome and complex, Dan's ingenuity shone brightly, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the tech world.
While his career was undeniably significant, it was Dan's devotion to his wife, church and his love for the game of golf that truly defined him. He met his beloved wife, Patricia, at a Rose Bowl party in 1997, igniting a partnership that would flourish into a beautiful 28-year marriage. Together, they shared countless moments on the golf course, where faith, love, and the pursuit of happiness intertwined in their lives.
Dan had a strong love for his Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ. Through this relationship, Dan had an undying love for his wife , Pat Carroll whom he leaves behind. Dan is also survived by , his brother, Joe (Lucille) Carroll; sisters, Pat (John) Saylor and Cathy Carroll; nephews, Brian and Kevin; cousins, dear friends and cherished clients.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frances.
A memorial service honoring Daniel's life will be held on August 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at The Church located at 1200 W. White Mountain Blvd. Lakeside, AZ. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable man who embraced life with a generous spirit and a loving heart. Following the service, his ashes will be lovingly scattered, symbolizing his spirit's return to the earth he cherished.
In this time of grief, we remember Daniel George Carroll as a radiant soul whose laughter and wisdom will forever echo in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
