Daniel William Conn, 77, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on April 1, 2025. He was born on September 9, 1947, in Morehead, Kentucky. He worked at Michelin Tire Corp for 30 years until he retired in 2005.
Dan was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. He had a passion for gardening and enjoyed building, fixing and remodeling things. He also had a great appreciation for rum and coke. His humor, wisdom, and generosity touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Douglas Conn (Erin Brady) and Michael Conn (Stephanie); grandchildren, Cameron Conn, Landon Conn, Sydney Wilsey (Jesse), Kaitlyn LeBlanc (Chris), and Emily Conn; great-grandchildren, Winslet Wilsey, Gracie LeBlanc, Addilyn LeBlanc, and Eloise Conn; siblings, Tom Conn (Carol), Joseph Conn (Mary Jo), and Betsy Williams (Jim) and multiple nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a few ex-wives, some of whom might even remember him fondly, and a wide circle of friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Marshall Conn.
In accordance with Dan's wishes, he will be cremated and there will not be a funeral service. Against Dan's wishes, his friends and family will privately celebrate his life and honor his memory.
