Daniel Q. Coulson, of Lanark, Illinois, passed away on Monday, February 16, at MercyOne Medical Center in Clinton, Iowa.
Born in Oak Park, Illinois, Dan was the son of Joseph and Patricia (Hepner) Coulson. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, he served from 1972 to 1975 with Harbor Clearance Unit 1 out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, honorably discharged as a Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class. He moved to Lanark in the early 1990s with his beloved wife, Lola. Together, they celebrated 41 years of marriage and raised two sons.
Dan will be dearly missed by his wife, Lola of Lanark; his sons, John (Tiffany) Coulson of Savanna, Illinois, and Matthew Coulson of Lanark; and his grandchildren, Michael and Emma.
