Daniel Cross, 62, of Cicero, NY, passed away peacefully at home on August 11, 2025. Daniel was born in Syracuse on April 21, 1963, the son of the late Jane Cole.
Dan was the successful, proud owner of a hood and vent cleaning business, where he dedicated many years of hard work and built strong relationships with his customers and community. Known for his strong work ethic and big heart. Dan was never one to judge and provided a job to any and all!
A lifelong sports fan, Dan was passionate about his Oakland Raiders, New York Yankees, and Syracuse football and basketball teams. Whether it was game day or just a conversation about stats, his enthusiasm for sports was infectious and unwavering.
Dan is survived by his children; Karen Cross-Burke (Antoine), Quinton Cross, Autumn Cross, Jacob Caiello, Evan Cross, Justin Galletta, Joey, Angela & Eric Sereno. Dan is survived by his older brother and two sisters, many nieces and nephews and his beloved grandchildren; Alexis, Morgan, Amya, Braelynn, Evelyn, Silas, Javier, and Jacob Jr.
He was a proud and loving father. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 2-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with a service at 3pm.
