Daniel L. Cruz, age 66, of Keshena, joined the love of his life when he passed away on June 16, 2024. Daniel was born in Racine County on October 4, 1957, son of the late Felipe and Elaine Cruz. Daniel worked in the Keshena area for most of his life. He owned and operated Cruz Trucking and Grading for several years. On August 2, 1998, Daniel was united in marriage to Tammi Lynn Tucker in Keshena. Daniel and Tammi spent many wonderful years together before her passing on May 28, 2023. In his free time, Daniel enjoyed working on trucks and cars and being outdoors, hunting and fishing. The most important thing to him was always his family. He loved cooking his family big breakfasts and he cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Daniel is survived by: children, Alfonzo Cruz, Athena Cruz, Alexander Cruz, Austin Cruz, Joey Tucker, and Curtis Cloud; grandchildren, Kalel Cloud, Luciano Tucker, Erza Cloud, and Marley Fish; siblings, Felipe "Phil" (Ellen) Cruz, Louis (Eileen) Cruz, James (Cheryl) Cruz, and Suzy (Joe) Cruz, Rose (Bert) Cruz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vickie Cruz, Coleen (Allen) Waubanascum, Lynette (Kim) LaTender, Rita (Duane) Teller, Lia Olson, Randal Tucker, Reginald Tucker, Glen Tucker, Ronald (Georgianna) Tucker, Tyrone (Clarissa) Tucker and Tracy (Theodora) Tucker.
He is preceded in death by his wife Tammi, his parents, and a brother, Greg Cruz.
A funeral service for Daniel will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena at 11:00am on Friday, June 21, 2024. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again at church on Friday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
