Daniel "Danny Boy" Ray Burruel, born on April 1, 1994, in Tucson, Arizona, passed away on October 23, 2024 in Tucson, AZ. Danny Boy was a beloved DJ for many years, and he brought joy and rhythm to countless gatherings through his passion for music.
A proud graduate of Tucson High School, Danny Boy exemplified a loving and affectionate spirit. He had a vibrant personality that could light up any room; he was known for being a clown, always ready to bring a smile to the faces around him. His adamant and strong-willed nature defined his approach to life, demonstrating a remarkable determination as he persevered through various medical setbacks.
In addition to his musical talents, Danny Boy enjoyed immersing himself in video games and watching television, often finding comfort in the worlds they created. He had a fondness for sunbathing, relishing the warmth despite the scorching heat of the Arizona sun.
Danny Boy is survived by his devoted mother, Jennifer Rose Marchetta; his father, Louis James Marchetta III; his brothers, Jesus De La Cruz and Matthew Marchetta; sister, Destiny Bourgeois; his cherished grandmother, Viola Burruel; grandfather, Alex Morales; and several loved cousins, aunts, and uncles who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his brother, Louis James Marchetta IV, a loss that profoundly affected his family. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis James Marchetta, Jr. and Gayle Dorsey.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on October 28, 2024, at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, Arizona, starting at 12:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their memories, celebrating the vibrant life that Danny Boy lived and the indelible impact he has left on those who knew him.
