Daniel Thomas Davie, 58, of West Mansfield, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at his residence.

 

Known for having an ornery side and being fun loving, he was always ready for a good time. A 1983 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, he worked in material services at Honda for over 30 years, retiring in 2020. He enjoyed hunting, riding ATV’s, farming and cutting wood. He was also a member of White Tails Unlimited.

 

Born April 15, 1965 in Marysville, he was the son of the late Thomas Ray and Elizabeth June (Evans) Davie. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Amy Jo (Radcliffe) Davie, on July 16, 2019.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Rikki (Dylan) Arseneau of West Mansfield, Hailey (Timothy) Rodriguez of Chillicothe and Mackenzie (Ryan) Ruble of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Karleigh Arseneau and Judah Rodriguez; sisters, Andrya (John) Clapsaddle and Sara (Garrett) Workman, both of West Mansfield; his best buddy, his beloved dog, Callie; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.

 

In keeping with Daniel’s wishes, no calling hours will be held. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Daniel will be held from 2:00-5:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Workman Residence 11323 T.R. 133 in West Mansfield. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to America’s Freedom Lodge 4070 Johnstown-Utica Rd. Utica, OH 43080. Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 W. Center St. West Mansfield is assisting the family and condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilsonfuneralhomesinc.com
