Daniel Davis Obituary
Daniel "Dan" Lester Davis, age 59, of Midland, Michigan, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026. Dan was born on October 31, 1966, in Midland, Michigan.
Dan had a lifelong love of all things mechanical and worked most of his life as a mechanic. In 2014, he left the garage to become a TAC engine consultant at Morley. Outside of work, Dan enjoyed outdoor motorsports and spending time with friends. Above all else, he cherished his beloved kitties, Milo and Isabella, who will miss him tremendously.
Dan is survived by his father, Lewis Davis; and his siblings: Lewis (Chris) Davis, Melody (Mike) DeBolt, Wendy (Jim) Holcomb, Warren (Lisa) Davis, Grace (Dennis) Phillips, Ivan (Rebecca) Davis, Melissa (Jerry) Campbell, and Kevin Davis. He is also survived by his "brother from another mother," Jay (Melissa) Conrad. Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at New Hope Community Church, 2510 E. Stewart Rd., Midland, Michigan, on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Dan will be remembered for his kindness, his laugh, and his willingness to help anyone in need. His memory will live on through the many family members and friends who loved him. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Midland Humane Society.
