Daniel C. Dimas, born on December 20, 1947, peacefully departed this life on January 12, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose presence brought joy to all who knew him. Daniel’s life was characterized by love and generosity, a testament to the saying, "His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love a gift that will live on through his family."
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. His devoted wife, Francisca Duarte, stood by his side through thick and thin, sharing a bond that was an inspiration to all. His son, Danny C. Dimas, and his cherished daughter, Dee Dee Dimas, along with her husband Jesse Gonzales and their family, will hold onto the countless memories they created together.
Daniel was also a treasured stepfather to Francine Velasquez and was lovingly remembered by his stepsons, Abraham Rodriguez and Jose Luis Rodriguez. His grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride, will carry forth his legacy of love.
He is also survived by his dear sisters, Dora Luz Rodriguez, Alma Kalifas, and Dalia Garcia.
Preceding Daniel in death were his beloved parents, Otila and Noe E. Dimas, who undoubtedly shaped the wonderful man he became. He is also preceded in death by his dear brothers, Juan Ramon Dimas and Dimas Dimas; his cherished sister, Irma Dimas; and by his son-in-law, Jacob Velasquez. Though they are no longer with us, their love and memories remain forever in our hearts.
Daniel’s family will receive condolences on January 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port Ave; where family and friends can gather to honor Daniel's life. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM that evening. A Chapel Service will begin at 11:00 AM on January 21, 2026, at Treviño Funeral Home, followed by the Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery where Daniel will be laid to rest.
Daniel C. Dimas leaves behind a rich legacy of love that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
