Daniel David Dolfi

Daniel Dolfi, 82, of Ringwood, NJ formerly of Elmwood Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025. He was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Peter and Anna (née: DeBonis) Dolfi. Daniel worked as a butcher for 28 years at three Shop Rite locations in northern New Jersey. He began his career in Fair Lawn on Route 4, spent many years at the Elmwood Park location on River Road and then finally finished as a manager in Lincoln Park. His next venture would be one of passion where he turned his love of buying and selling collectibles into a thriving business. In 1988, he created D & D Collectibles, which he owned and operated until his passing. Mr. Dolfi was a great outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Some of his favorite times were spent dining at Portofino Ristorante, Oak Ridge, NJ and Cafe L'Amore, Oakland, NJ where he relished in delicious Italian cuisine his favorite food. Daniel was the beloved husband of the late Sharon (née: Schultz) Dolfi (2002). Devoted father of Dennis Dolfi and his wife, Rory and David Dolfi. Proud grandfather of David Dolfi, Jr., Brooke Dolfi, Sage Dolfi, Hayden Dolfi, Madison Dolfi and Cody Dolfi. Loving brother of Eugene Dolfi and his wife, Linda and Connie Dolfi and her husband, Joseph Schirripe. Cherished uncle of Dominic and his wife, Sonia Dolfi, Dawn-Lyn Dolfi and Frankie Schirripe. Daniel is also survived by dear friends and neighbors. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Leo's Church, Elmwood Park, NJ with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel's memory can be made to Operation Homefront.
