Daniel Dominguez a resident of Gonzales, passed away October 30th, 2025, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center – Bluebonnet at the age of 45. He was born on October 14th, 1980, in Chihuahua, Mexico.
He was a hard worker who loved spending time and making memories with his family. Daniel was an avid fisherman and loved spending his spare time working on his truck. He loved cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and letting everyone know his dislike for the 49ers. When Alabama and LSU played, he would always choose the Crimson Tide “Roll Tide”. Daniel would always jokingly ask “was there any discounts on anything or was there anything free”.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Rosa Dominguez, son, Daniel Dominguez, Jr., daughter, Maya Dominguez, mother, Maria Dominguez, siblings, Maria Rodriguez, Jesus Dominguez, Patricia Palomino, and Guadalupe Dominguez, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Dominguez, and siblings, Alma Rosa and Minerva Dominguez.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 11:00 am till 7:00 pm at Ascension Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Monday, from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church in Gonzales. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory in Prairieville.
