Daniel P. Douglas 74 of Brimfield passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Heather Knoll Nurisng Home in Tallmadge. He was born January 22, 1952 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Bert H. Burdick and Elizabeth Mae Douglas. He was adopted by the late Arthur Ray and Vivian Douglas. Daniel was a member of The Chapel at Tinkers Creek and worked as a press operator for International Paper in Solon. Survivors include his daughters Charlotte (Michael) Plahuta and Rachel (Nick) Rothermel, grandchildren Eric, Evelyn, Eleanor, Emelia and Edeline and brothers Bert H. Burdick, Jr., Ralph Penn and Jack Penn. He is reunited with his wife Fay who preceded him in death. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel with Reverend Dave McClellan officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville.
