John Crock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel - Warren on Jan. 19, 2026.
Warren - John Francis Crock, age 84, of Warren, Ohio, went to the loving arms of the Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center in Masury, Ohio, after bravely facing cancer.

Born in Ravenna, Ohio, John lived most of his life rooted in faith, family, and service in Streetsboro, Ohio. After spending time in East Hickory, Pennsylvania, and West Palm Beach, Florida, John and his wife Agnes made Warren, Ohio their home.

John was the beloved husband and best friend of Agnes "Aggie" Crock (Kehner), the love of his life, whom he married on June 6, 1964. Together they shared more than six decades of devotion, companionship, and unwavering love.

He is survived by his loving family: his son Michael Crock (partner, Stacy Selby); his daughters Kimberly Willis (husband, Steve Willis) and Cheryl Redick (fiancé, David Schwartz); his brother Norman Crock; his sister Carol Pritts (husband, Charles Pritts); and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

John was a proud grandfather to Ashley Bohl (husband, Tim Bohl), Danielle Harper (partner, Patrick Schnabel), Jaycee Redick (fiancé, Nelson Taboada), Danny Guthrie (wife, Olivia Guthrie), and Theresa Cumberledge (husband, Matt Cumberledge). He was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Cambria Bohl, Isaac Cumberledge, Josilynn Howe, Gabriel Cumberledge, Elizabeth Cumberledge, Malcolm Guthrie, and Marlo Guthrie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Margaret Crock.

John retired from Crown Mold and Machine in Streetsboro, Ohio, where he was known as a skilled and dedicated machinist. He also served his community faithfully as a volunteer with the Streetsboro Fire Department and Rescue Squad for 14 years, exemplifying a lifelong commitment to helping others.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, John carried his sense of duty and honor throughout his life. He was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus and Saint William Catholic Church in Warren, Ohio, where his Catholic faith remained central to who he was.

John enjoyed golfing and fishing, and for several years fulfilled a dream as a charter boat captain on Lake Erie. Above all, he cherished his faith, his family, and his wife Agnes, who stood lovingly by his side throughout their life together.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint William Catholic Church, 5411 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, Ohio 44483, on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 12:00 noon. All who wish to attend are welcome.
