Daniel Royce “Danny Boy” Entrekin, 72 of Vancleave, MS passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 in Gulfport, MS.
He was born on September 28, 1950 at Keesler Air Force Base to William Lewis Entrekin and Mary Quave Entrekin Harris. He was a graduate from Vancleave High School. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Automotive Tech, Security Guard, Fiberglass tech, and a First Mate on a Tug Boat. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, coin collecting, metal detecting, camping, boating, and horseshoes.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, William Lewis Entrekin and Mary Quave Entrekin Harris; and siblings, Shirley Ann Entrekin Smith, Joyce Irene Entrekin Seal, and Sandra jean Entrekin Noble.
He is survived by his spouse, April Lynn Entrekin; children, William Martin Entrekin, Mark Daniel Entrekin, Karen Fay Entrekin, and Kevin Ray Entrekin; siblings, Susan Marie Smith Entrekin of Vancleave, David Lonnie Entrekin, Sr. of Woolmarket, and Juanita Denise Latham of Gulfport.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior.
