Dad,
I never thought that this day would come so fast! I am very blessed to be one of your daughters and I also know that you will always be my angel watching over me. I truely believe that you are in a great place and know that you will be surrounded by lots of family that is already there. Grandma and David will be there to laugh at all your jokes. It's crazy because I went to call you today and tell you how beautiful the weather in Denver was but realized that I couldn't!! I only wish it would get easier! I love you so much and will miss you more than anyone will know!

Dan, know that it is because of you that your children will be fine. The strengh and character you gave them is evident in them all. The few times I was around them all , your name and their childhood memories were always in our conversations. They had a love for you that you can be assured will live on in their lives forever. May they rest in the peace of knowing that now you are able to walk, protect, and guide them everyday with your heavenly love.

I am so sad to hear of Dan's passing. He was such a nice person and he was a wonderful father. The times that I was able to spend with him and his beautiful family, he made me feel very included. I hope he rests in peace. I will look after Rachelle for you and pray for the rest of your family everyday Dan.

Dad,
I love you more than anything in the world. If there is anything you have taught me, is that family is the most important thing in the world. Well that, and a the perfect steak! I love that no matter what, you knew how to make people laugh. I believe that runs in the family! At any point in time, no matter how often we talked, I always knew how much you loved me and how proud you were. I will continue to make you proud every day for the rest of my life until we can be together again.

I love you dad. Thank you for being such a wonderful and loving father. I know you are finally at peace now. I am happy that you are with Grandma and uncle David. I love you.

We are very sorry to learn of Dan's passing.
We live in Minnetonka Mn. and are lucky enough to spend our winters at Madeira Beach Fl. During those months we visit John's Pass and go to the shoe shop that Dan managed. We have more than one pair of shoes that make our feet happy thanks to his advice. Our extended family members also have shoes from his store. We'd make a point to stop and visit with him even without the need to cover our feet. We did miss his presence here this Jan. after the store changed ownership. More surprised to read about the most tragic end of his life in the St. Pete Times. He was a wonderful man and a pleasure to have know him.
