Daniel C. Flynn, of Whitman, MA, passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on July 30, 1939, in Kilcummin, County Kerry, Ireland, he was the son of the late John Flynn and Margaret Flynn (McGilacuddy). Daniel was raised in Kilcummin before later making his home in Massachusetts.
He is survived by his children, Margaret Thomas and her husband John of Hingham, and Thomas Flynn of Weymouth. He was the proud grandfather of Ashley Thomas, John Thomas, Sean Flynn, and Ryan Flynn. Daniel is also survived by his sister Joan of Ireland, as well as his longtime companion Jean R. Binley. He was predeceased by his sons John Flynn and Gordon Flynn.
