Daniel Ray Garrison

Danny lost his long-fought battle with cancer in the early hours of July 5, 2023. He was born in Marked Tree, Arkansas to William and Daphon Garrison, and grew up in Union, Ohio where he attended Northmont Schools from elementary through graduation in 1971.
Danny served in the Army National Guard before starting his career in printing at Reynolds and Reynolds in Dayton, Ohio. After moving to Florida, he continued his passion for printing for 34 years at Baker Press in Orlando, FL.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, William and Daphon, and brothers Max and Terry. He is survived by sisters, Robbie (Chuck) Damron, Plant City, FL.; Peggy Vanater, Tooele, UT; Janis Jordan, Union, OH, and Lynda (Jerry) Williams, Joplin, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Steve Crochunis, Mark Crochunis, Jim Crochunis, John Crochunis, Bobby Garrison, Billy Garrison, Sean Wright, Kelly Carnahan, Michaela Sanseverino, Christina Sanseverino, Colby Garrison, Casey Garrison, Jenny Harris, Matt DeAnguelo, Aaron Modras and Rachel Modras and many great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to David Malave and Denise and Dave Thompson for their endless support throughout Danny's illness as well as Jim and Maddie Kaser for providing a space of comfort in the final months of his life.
