Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Terry Crenshaw Garrison, 61, of Gary, Texas will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 28, 2026 at the Caledonia Cemetery with Sister Effie Owens officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home.

Terry Ann Crenshaw Garrison, born May 7, 1964, of Gary, Texas, passed away on January 15, 2026.

Terry was lovingly raised by her grandmother, Nora Lee Ritter, who played a huge role in shaping the strong, faithful woman Terry became.

Terry was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around caring for others. She had a special heart for the elderly and loved spending time sitting with them, listening, talking, and simply being there.

She was funny, caring, stubborn, hardworking, and faithful. Terry loved her people and she loved her church. A devoted Christian, she lived her life serving others and showing love wherever she could. She never met a stranger and could talk to anyone she had just met like she had known them for years. She will be remembered for her strong will, her servant's heart, and her sense of humor that could brighten even the hardest days.

Her family meant everything to her, and she took great pride in being a mom, a grandma, and a great- grandma.

She is survived by her children Tabitha Stroud and husband Wesley, Misty Chastain, Danney Garrison, Jr., and Destiny Garrison; a special niece, Elizabeth Spaeth-Maricle: and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Danney Garrison, Sr., and her brother Perry Crenshaw.
