Mr. Autry Wayne Griffith

Funeral services for Mr. Autry Wayne Griffith, 90, of Kingwood, Texas will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2026 in the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Anderson and Mr. Keith Drewery officiating. Burial will follow in Long Branch Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Autry Wayne Griffith was born September 18, 1935 in Long Branch, Texas and passed away February 10, 2026 at his home in Kingwood, Texas. Autry was one of four children born to the marriage of Maudell Drewry and Joseph Long Griffith. He was raised in Longbranch and attended schools in Carthage graduating with the Bulldog Class of 1955. He married his love, Martha Ann Allen November 19, 1955 and they celebrated 70 years of marriage and five children. Mr. Griffith worked in Oil Refining as an operator working for Valero Refining until his retirement. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Kingwood, Texas. He loved the outdoors; quail and deer hunting and working on small engines. After his retirement he loved his second career as a cattle rancher. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leroy and Herbert Griffith, an infant son Dennis and a daughter Llonda

Griffin.

Mr. Griffith is survived by his loving wife Martha Griffith of Kingwood; sons, Stuart Griffith and wife Nancy of Crosby, Randall Griffith and wife Cindy of Crosby, Bradley Griffith and wife Kelly of Crosby; sister, Wanda Fite of Conroe; grandchildren, Chad and Rachel Griffith, Travis and Melissa Griffith, Austin and Kelli Griffith, Randa Griffith, Heather and Matt Porter, Chase and Jeanette Griffin, Lauren and Tyler Eidsness, Lexie Griffith, and Grace Griffith; (13) great grand children; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Griffith, Travis Griffith, Austin Griffith, Chase Griffin, Ty Griffith, Gavin Griffith, Beau Griffith and Hunter Grifftih.
