Daniel E. "Dj" Gitto Jr.

Daniel "DJ" E. Gitto, Jr., 28, of East Greenbush, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 5th 2025, at home. DJ was born in Albany, NY the son of Daniel E. and Adela (Delgado) Gitto. His interests included listening to his brother make music, watching the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees, and spending time with his family. He was an Opioid Analyst for the Rensselaer County Department of Health for years. Survivors include his parents; his brother, Christopher Gitto; his longtime girlfriend, Becca Foster; his beloved dog, Medusa; and many family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Maria O. Gitto and Eugenio N. Gitto. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, August 12 from 2-5pm in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 5pm after calling hours.
