Daniel P. Glick, 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025 at his residence. The Shipshewana, IN native was a son of the late Percy H. Glick and Goldia Bernice (Mishler) Glick. Daniel remained single all his life. He lived with his only sister Lydia, after their dad was no longer with them. He faithfully took care of what he could the last 10 or 11 years of her life - she being crippled and often in pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis. After she passed away, he moved into a couple rooms at his nephews, Nathan and Alice Glick, who took care of him the last almost 2 years he lived till his death. The family thinks he had mini strokes the last part of October and gradually declined in strength till his end.
He is survived by 1 brother: Enos Glick and wife, Esther, Scottsville, KY;
9 nephews, 7 nieces, 2 step nieces and 1 step nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister: Lydia Glick; 2 brothers: Harry Glick and his wife, Suzan, and his first wife, Mattie, and Perry Glick and wife, Lydia.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Oakwood Mennonite Church with Joe Habegger and Monroe Gingerich officiating and burial in Oakwood Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday at 1560 Shores Road, Scottsville, KY. Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
