Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 46 years of Kissimmee, Florida; his sons: Douglas Wayne Gommel of Winchester, Indiana, Michael Ryan Gommel of Kissimmee, Florida; his daughters: Kimberly Denise Gommel Jerome and her husband Jerry of Columbus, Indiana, Sharalynn Renee Gommel Lake and her husband Seth of Nashville, Tennessee, Kristynn Marie Gommel of Kissimmee, Florida; his 8 adoring grandchildren and his 8 great grandchildren.
Services will be held in Bloomington, Indiana through THE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3000 E. 3rd Street, Bloomington, Indiana 47401; 812-333-4400.
