Daniel graduated from Madison Heights High School Class of 1992. He proudly served the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1995. Later he would marry the love his life, Abrina (Layman) Harrison, in 2004. and she survives.
Daniel worked for the maintenance department of Red Gold as a parts room attendant. Besides being an avid fisherman, he was a strong Notre Dame sports fan. Mostly, Daniel treasured the time he could spend with his family, especially the grandchildren.
Besides his loving spouse of 21 years, Abrina, he is also survived by his children, Daniel Matthew Harrison Jr. (finacee- Alexis Ramsey), Taylor Nicole Harrison (companion-Bryant Moore), and Makayla Sears (Riley); grandchildren, Elijah, Brantley, and Bentlee Harrison and Harper Sears; mother, Marilyn Mace; siblings, Melanie Smith (Josh), Melissa House (Jack), Keith Harrison (Companion-Kay), Michael Harrison (Stella), and Marcus Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Harrison, step father, Melvin Mace and his grandson, Kingston Harrison.
Cremation has been chosen, with a private family gathering at a later date. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory are entrusted with these arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
