Daniel "Peach" Hennen, a beloved figure in the community of Morton, MN. He was born in Redwood Falls, MN on November 25, 1948, Daniel grew up with a deep love for his hometown and a profound commitment to his family and friends.

Peach dedicated 23 years of his life serving as the city superintendent for the City of Morton, a position he held proudly until his retirement in November 2013. His commitment to his work was matched only by his dedication to his family. He was a devoted father to his three sons, Jason (Stacey) Hennen of Dell Rapids, SD, Jamie (Cindy) Hennen of Olathe, KS, and Jeremy (Victoria) Hennen of Hazel, SD. Daniel also cherished his role as a grandfather to seven grandchildren; Ty, Kaylee, Annie, Bella, Vivian, Brexton and Lili; whose lives he enriched with his warmth and kindness.

A proud veteran of the Navy, Peach served his country during the Vietnam War, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him values of service and bravery. His life was also marked by a love for the outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, golfing, and cheering for Twins Baseball, passions that painted his life with memorable moments and friendships.

Peach was well-regarded for his involvement in the community, particularly his service as an usher at St. John's Catholic Church in Morton. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him and bringing him closer to the community he loved.

He is survived by his special friend, Shirley Dove of Morton; his brothers, Merlin Hennen of Olivia, Tom (Sharon) Hennen of Denison, IA, Mike (Jean) Hennen and Joe (Betsy) Hennen of Olivia; and his sisters, Pat Reitter of Redwood Falls and MaryLou (Cy) Molter of New Ulm. Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Hennen, who passed away in 1994, and two brothers, Tim Hennen and Jerry Hennen.

Daniel "Peach" Hennen will forever be remembered as a loving father, devoted grandfather, and a true friend to many, who left an enduring legacy of love, faith, and service. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Blessed be his memory.
