Daniel Robert Holdridge

Mr. Daniel "Dan" R. Holdridge, aged 68, of Stanwood passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D. and Donna Holdridge; sister, Marcia. Surviving are his beloved wife of 50 years, Edna; daughters, Amy L. Paquin and Danielle M. (Robert) Groot; grandchildren, Marilyn (David), Alexendria, Joshua, Emily (Chris), Abigail (Dylan Jr), Kristen and Andrew; great grandchildren, Owen, Nov-Ember, Gabriel, Sophia, Olivia, Jackson, Everleigh, and Willow; sisters, Jane (Jessie) Florse, Roberta Jo Pease; brother, Ricky (Rita) Holdridge; several nieces and nephews.
Dan worked as a sales rep at Discount Tire while attending Rockford High School, he would work in the morning and head to school and then back to Discount Tire to finish the day. Edna was Dan's childhood sweetheart, and they were married on June 23, 1973 at Fountain Street Church. After graduating from Rockford High School Dan continued to work at Discount Tire and then at MacDonald Industrial Products for about 18 years as a die caster and later as a foreman. He later went on to Wolverine Worldwide as a truck driver, then drove for Bridgestone Tire until he was injured. Dan enjoyed tinkering with vintage automobiles, fishing and camping with Edna.
