Daniel Huse Obituary
Ashburn, VA - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel "Dan" Huse, who died peacefully at Loudoun Hospital in Lansdowne, Virginia, at the age of 83.
Dan was born in Neptune, New Jersey, to the late Ernest and Clara Huse (Chellis). He grew up in Morris Plains, NJ, and went on to study at Lehigh University and the University of Pittsburgh. After college, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he met the love of his life, Mary Ann. He later enjoyed a long and successful career with IBM.
Dan was known for his involvement with the Children's Liver Foundation, his passion for genealogy, his sharp wit, extensive knowledge of the New York Yankees, love of traveling, soccer and his genuine kindness to everyone he met.
He is survived by his son, Brendan Huse; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristie and Dave Norden; his beloved granddaughter, Kate Norden; and his sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Bob Stoddard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Huse (Szymczak), and his son, Brian Huse.
Family and friends are invited to Dan's calling hour at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Monday May 12th from 10 to 11 AM. A graveside service will be held at the Mills Cemetery in Meriden, NH at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation in Dan's memory. An online guest book is available to leave Dan's family a message of condolence by visiting www.rickerfuneralhome.com

Sad to hear of Dan's passing. When he and Rachel would visit Meriden as children, my sister Bonnie and I were the designated playmates.
