Daniel J. Jedlicka, 77, of Boling, Texas passed away from heart-related health issues on February 9, 2025 in Sugar Land, Texas. He was born on November 12, 1947 in Wharton, Texas to the late Anton W. and Hettie (Milder) Jedlicka. Daniel retired from Texas Instruments after 32 years of dedicated service. He was a long-time member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville where he served on several church committees and always enjoyed helping others. Daniel's faith was very important to him, and he always strived to be a good and faithful servant. His hobbies included gardening, playing Dominoes and in his younger days, painting, hunting and fishing. This loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will be missed.
Daniel is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Karen G. Jedlicka; daughters, Lori Jedlicka and Melissa Hinshaw (spouse Chris); brothers, Tony Jedlicka and Louis Jedlicka (spouse Karen); sisters, JoAnn Meyer and Mary Johnson (spouse Steve); grandsons, Jonas and Colson Hinshaw; mother-in-law, Dorothy Mikel; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2025 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2025 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. that afternoon at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Although Daniel enjoyed gardening, the family requests that you omit flowers, but instead consider making a donation to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, earmarked the Remodeling Fund, P.O. Box 389, Needville, Texas 77461.
