Daniel Lee Jones, 40, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away July 14, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel following an extended illness.
He was born on March 21, 1985, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Harold J. "Joe" Jones Jr. and Marla (Blazier) Jones. Daniel attended Headstart schools along with being Home Schooled.
Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family, he loved Jesus. He also loved car shows, Hot Wheels, Sunday School, golf and the Indianapolis Colts.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Marla (Blazier) Jones of Anderson; sister, Vanessa (Shawn) Street of Middletown; grandmother Jeannie Blazier of Pendleton; aunt, Mona Hilton of Pendleton; uncles, Edwin Blazier of Noblesville, Vance (Missy) Blazier of Noblesville; several nieces and nephews; and a great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold "Joe" Jones Jr.; and his grandfather John R. Blazier.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday July 26, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Rev. Tom Greenslade officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday July 26, 2025 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
