Daniel Kilbreth Obituary

Brookline

Daniel Scott Kilbreth

Daniel Scott Kilbreth, age 62, died unexpectedly at his home in Brookline, MA on February 13, 2023. He was accompanied by his faithful friend Jamie, the last in a long line of cocker spaniels Danny loved and cared for. Born October 22, 1960 in Groton, MA to Laurier (Larry) and Miriam (Patti Beard) Kilbreth, he grew up in Ayer, MA and graduated from Ayer Jr-Sr High School in 1978. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Massachusetts where he minored in Theater Arts as well. Danny was an exquisitely talented musician with a beautiful singing voice. He could stun us all with his ability to play the piano "by ear". Perhaps his greatest talent was writing intricate music-both lyrics and melody. His creativity seemed boundless, as he could write hysterical or heart-rending poems and short stories equally well. Danny had several jobs within the Boston hospitals before embracing his role as Manager for the Law Office of Michael D. Tracey, PC, a position he held for 28 years. He was predeceased by his father and his younger brother, Andrew Kilbreth. He is survived by his mother, previously of 150 Washington St, Ayer and now residing at Apple Valley Health Center in Ayer, MA; his sister Lynn (Kilbreth) Anderson of Keswick, Virginia and her husband, Steven D. Anderson; six nieces and nephews in CT and MA; and two great-nieces in CT. You are invited to send remembrances to Danny's family at: [email protected]

It is with sincere sorrow that I send my sympathies to Daniel´s family: especially his mom and Lynn. Dan was in my 11th grade English class at Ayer High School. He was bright and talented, and his achievements were recognized by his teachers and classmates. Gone too soon, I feel. Sending my heartfelt thoughts and prayers for strength to cope. God bless Daniel and his family and friends. My best, Pamela Lambert-Loring, Bolton, MA
