Daniel Knieriemen Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Dale City on Feb. 11, 2025.
Daniel William Knieriemen of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away on February 5th, 2025.
Daniel was born in Fairfax, VA, to Jennifer and Joseph T. Knieriemen on May 2nd, 1995. He married Christine Thompson on November 5th, 2016 in Stafford, VA. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served on the USS Theodore Roosevelt from 2013-2017 when he was honorably discharged. He worked as an installation technician for Johnson controls at the time of his passing.
Daniel always led an active life, playing both baseball and soccer for years, and he was always seen with a skim board at the beach. Daniel was a shining light in our family and in our lives. He brought so much joy and love to everyone, whether it was through his incredible smile, compassionate heart, or his love of his entire family. He was truly the life of any party and could light up someone's day in an instant. We are deeply saddened by his passing, but we will forever remember the laughs and the love that he brought to life. Daniel pushed hard for those he loved, and we will always push on for him now. We will carry on your light and your memory always, Dan. Rest in peace; you will be missed by all, until we meet again.
Daniel is preceded in death by his grandfather Joseph F. Knieriemen, his grandfather William Gunkel, and his grandmother Madeline Knieriemen.
Daniel is survived by his wife Christine Knieriemen, his two children Reagan Knieriemen and Colton Knieriemen; his brother Joseph M. Knieriemen, his wife Gabrielle Knieriemen, and their two children Aiden Knieriemen and Mylo Knieriemen; his sister Stephanie Knieriemen, her life partner Eric Russell, and their two children Elaina Knieriemen and Bodhi Russell; his parents Jennifer Knieriemen and Joseph T. Knieriemen; his grandmother Altha Gunkel; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
