Daniel C. Knox, Sr. (Cliff) age 83 of Medway, Ohio passed away April 2, 2024. He was born May 11, 1940 in Locust Branch, Kentucky son of the late James and Gracie Knox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Jean) Knox, his sons, Steven and Daniel Knox, Jr., siblings, William Knox, Irene Thacker and Dorothy Knox, and grandson Anthony Knox. Daniel is survived by daughter, Nicole (Sean) Herrberg; grandchildren Amanda (Aaron) Helman, Daniel (Taulinah) Knox, III, Amber (Jarod) Barker, Brianne (Cody) Myers, and Ashley Knox; great grandchildren, Madison, Alex, Grayson, Luke, Reese, Emma, Elaina, Emelia, Allie and Maddie; great grandson, Arthur. Daniel was a devoted husband to Phyllis (Jean) for 62 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. He was a favorite of a large family of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and former coworkers. Daniel enjoyed watching sports, classic western films and television shows, and read every western book he could find. He was active in the Medlake Lions Club for many years and served as president where he donated his time and provided free eyeglasses to the less fortunate. He was beloved for his unforgettable entertaining character. His one of a kind loving and playful nature will be greatly missed. Please join us for a memorial service to celebrate the life of Daniel on Saturday, April 27th. Visitation with family will begin at 1:30pm and the service will begin at 3:00pm. Please bring your fondest memories to share with family and friends.
