Daniel Alton Lawrence, 56, of Cavalier, ND, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at his residence. Memorial service will be held Monday, December 30, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Methodist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Daniel was born April 17th, 1968, in Cavalier, ND. He was adopted by the late Rev. Wayne and Betsy Lawrence when he was six months old and gained an older brother, Curtis. Daniel grew up in Towner, ND and in 1985 he moved to Bismarck and attended Marmot High School. On April 16th, 1998, Daniel was blessed with his daughter, Vahn.
On March 30th, 2012, Daniel married Shari Graf in Bismarck, ND. They liked to watch Netflix and hang out with their cats together. Daniel also enjoyed playing pool.
Daniel was known for being a talented artist. He could sketch just about anything that you asked of him.
Daniel is survived by his wife: Shari; daughter: Vahn Lawrence; stepsons: Kane and Gunner Hart; brothers: Curtis (Mandy) Lawrence, Billy Smith, and Dewayne Jerome; sister: Tara McConnell; sister in-law: Theresa Tkach, and grandchild: Evayah Mae, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nephew & nieces. He will also be missed by his three cats who he cherished: JJ, Remedy, and Precious.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne & Betsy Lawrence and his birth mother, Viola Cluchie.
