Daniel Kenneth Lehman, 60, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on March 13, 2025.
Dan was born on October 16, 1964, in Hollywood, Florida, to the late Kenneth and Beverly Lehman.
In addition to Dan's parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years, Bridget Lehman.
Dan is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brenton and Aimee Lehman; grandchildren, Charlotte, William, and Theodore; siblings, Douglas Lehman, Charles Lehman, and Susan Alexander; and a host of family and friends
A graduate of Hollywood Christian School in Holywood, FL, Dan also attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO, majoring in Worship Ministry. Dan and his wife, Bridget met and married at the Cherry Street Baptist Church, Springfield, MO, on September 15, 1984.
As a pastor for 30 plus years, Dan's passion was leading people in worship through song, and was described as one who could, "preach a song". His ministry took place in various ministries from Texas to Arkansas to Missouri to Florida. Dan tirelessly gave his whole heart to making Jesus known among his family, friends, neighbors, and churches. Dan was used of God in countless ways in the lives of so many.
As a Papa, he dearly loved and doted on his 3 grandchildren. Dan's greatest love was Jesus, who he longed to see more and more as his days on earth came to an end. In the words of St. Paul, Dan said in the end:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
