Daniel Lemire Obituary
He was born June 24, 1945 in Cleveland, the son of George A. & Matilda M. (Simon) Lemire and has lived the past 15 years in Cleveland. Mr. Lemire previously llived in Richmond Twp.
Mr. Lemire was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in Korea during the Vietnam War. He attended St. Malachi’s Catholic Church in Cleveland.
Survivors include two sisters, Jeanne M. Novotny of Ashtabula and Therese L. Hoffman of Vermillion, three brothers, Leonard P. Lemire of Akron, Jerome A. Lemire of Jefferson and Richard A. Lemire of Richmond Twp. and 10 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George in 1977 and Matilda in 2002 and two brothers, Thomas J. Lemire in 1972 and Timothy G. Lemire in 1999.
A memorial mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 A. M. at St. Malachi’s Catholic Church, Washington & W. 25th Sts. in Cleveland with the Rev. Fr. Anthony Schuerger of the church officiating. Cremation took place at the Care Group Cremation Center in Jefferson.
