Daniel R. Lessack

"Loving son, brother, uncle, nephew & cousin"

Daniel R. Lessack, 31, of Terryville, formerly a lifelong resident of Middlebury, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving son of Silvana (Salamone) Masucci and the late Ross Lessack.

Daniel was born on May 3, 1994 in Waterbury. He attended Pomperaug Elementary School and graduated from Cooperative Education Services (CES) High School in Trumbull.

Daniel brought joy and laughter to every room he entered. He lived life with a vibrant heart, an unforgettable sense of humor, and a deep love for connecting with others. He cherished the simple joys of life-long walks, storytelling, and sharing meals with friends and family. His warmth, compassion, and playful spirit were gifts he shared freely with everyone he met.

Besides his mother Silvana and her husband Paul M. Masucci of Middlebury, Daniel is survived by; his sister, Amanda Miller and her husband Jordan of Waterford; his nephew, Mason R. Miller; two step-sisters, Victoria Masucci of Boston, MA and Gianna Masucci of Middlebury; his maternal grandmother, Maria Salamone of Waterbury; his maternal aunts, Maria Dorval and her husband Andre of Bristol, Lidia Ryan and her husband Charles of Sister, OR and Josephine Macey and her husband David of Marion; and several cousins. He also leaves his devoted, skilled and compassionate family at the Marrakech Group Home.

Arrangements: Calling hours for Daniel will be held Saturday July 19, 2025 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lake Elise Cemetery in Middlebury.
