Daniel Majors Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pensacola Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home - Pensacola on Dec. 19, 2023.
Daniel Aubry Majors, 76, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday December 16, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. After graduating from Woodham High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service he went to work at ECUA, where he later retired. His love of God and family were shown in every area of his active life. Danny enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, collecting classic cars, going to races, and frying turkeys and mullet. Danny was rarely seen without a ballcap, but his favorite hat was "Worlds's Best Poppy". Danny never met a stranger, always offering kind words and helping others daily. He loved laughing and telling big tales with friends and living life to the fullest - never letting dust settle on him.
Danny was preceded in death by three sisters, and three brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathy of 50 years, daughter Alysia Pippin (Carl), son Daniel Majors, grandchildren Payton Pippin, Garrett Pippin, Aubrey Majors, and Wyatt Majors, sisters Sandra Sfanos (Emmanuel) and Ellen Johnson, and several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with the funeral service to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers or the Wounded Warrior Project, both of which Danny supported.

My overarching memory of Danny is that he was a loving, funny, gentle, kind man, reflective of his love for God. I know his family will miss him greatly on this side of heaven, but will hold close the hope seeing him again in Glory. My sympathy and prayers to the family.
