Daniel Mayfield Obituary
Pete is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Caldwell; brothers, Mike Mayfield, James Cates; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diane Mayfield of Atlanta, Texas; son, Danny Mayfield (Christy) of Atlanta, Texas; daughter, Melissa Wilbanks (Austin) of Atlanta, Texas; sister, Betty Peterson (Ronnie) of Avinger, Texas; four grandchildren, Dalton Fortune, Celeste Harte (Degan), Daniel Wilbanks (Maddie Forrester), Tristan Mayfield; great granddaughter, Oaklynn Harte; brother and sister in laws, Joe and Barbara Woolf, G.W. and Sandy Cherry, Roy and Linda Easley; fur baby, Rusty; and a host of other family and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in the Hanner Funeral Service Chapel, with Kent Craft and Dwayne Mitchell officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of our cousin Pete. We barely seen each other in our lifetime. He was our Mom´s nephew by her sister Josephine. It´s sad how we drift apart in our lives but I never forget a loved one. Rest In Peace our beloved cousin. Go be with our Lord and Savior and your family already there. Our sincerest condolences to his wife and family. We will meet again. Your cousins Donna Gail Randolph Webb, Gloria Darlene Randolph Holdman , Jerry Don Randolph.
