Daniel McGeary Obituary
Daniel McGeary, 70, of Inverness, FL, passed away on October 15, 2024. He was born in Bellwood, PA, on February 9, 1954, to the late James Melvin McGeary and Lillian Gault.
Daniel was a US Marine Corps veteran. He was a family man who dedicated his life to his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He loved traveling, was an avid movie lover, a lawn connoisseur, and loved the outdoors. His dog Chance kept him company on all his adventures.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Melvin "Jake", Robert, and Wayne and sisters, Vivian Calhoun, Connie McGeary, and Judith Potts.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya McGeary; sons, Torrance McGeary (Brooke), Daniel McGeary II, and Jacob McGeary (Ashley Thomas); stepson, Steven Carroll; daughters, Tammy Bushbye (Mark), Melissa Read, Ashley McGeary (Ron Webster), and Lilly-Ann McGeary; 12 grandchildren, Tamilyn, Angel, Sasha, Farrah, Sarrah, Kristin, Tara, Xander, Torin, Zephan, Mia, and Landon; and 16 great-grandchildren. Also left behind are his sisters, Minnie Lunger, Lavina Walters (Bud), and Betty Bridges.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 with a Visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until the hour of service, at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made directly to the family.
