Daniel Ray Minor, 69, of Rockaway Beach, Missouri, went on to be with his Lord on August 26, 2025. He was born to Franklin and Wilma (Bray) Minor, December 31, 1955, in Helena, Arkansas. He attended Raymore Peculiar High School. Daniel enlisted and served in the U.S. Army from 1973-1975, was stationed in Germany.

Daniel married the love of his life, Debbie Tousley, on August 2, 1980 in Belle Plaine, Kansas. The couple have 3 children: Tracy, Tara, and Cody. In 1995, due to a family tragedy the couple opened their home and raised two additional children Lori Patton and Trevor Patton.

Daniel moved to this area from Dexter, Kansas where he worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for the State of Kansas at the Department of Corrections. He loved to spend his free time hunting and fishing and rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. Daniel also liked to play the guitar for his family & friends to enjoy.

He leaves behind his loving wife Debbie Minor of Rockaway Beach; daughters Tracy Tapia of Winfield, Kansas; Tara Shanks (Oland) of Rockaway Beach, and son Cody Minor (Ashley) of Rockaway Beach; sister Deidre Franks (Perry) of Miami, Oklahoma; brother Terry Minor (Pattie) of Harrisonville, Missouri; three grandchildren Caleb Tapia, Austin Tapia, and Alex Skelton and 2 great-grandchildren Aleah & Carson Tapia.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Wilma Minor, brother Kenneth Bray, son in law Marc Tapia, great grandson Caysen Tapia.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of life for Daniel on September 4, 2025, at the Taney Center, 20130 US 160 Forsyth, MO 65653 from 2pm to 5pm.

Arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel.
