Daniel Moran Obituary
Milltown - Daniel F. Moran died Sunday, July 11, 2021, at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was 87.
Born in New Brunswick to the late Daniel P. and Ethel (Seymour) Moran, he lived in New Brunswick before moving to Milltown over 40 years ago. He was a firefighter for the City of New Brunswick for over 30 years before retiring in 1988. He was a member of the New Brunswick Fireman's Association.
Mr. Moran was a member of the Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Brunswick.
He was predeceased by his wife Priscilla A. (Reynolds) Moran in 2018; and by his brother and sister-in-law Richard and Joan Moran. Surviving are his daughter Karen McCoy of Somerset; his granddaughter Dara McCoy of New Brunswick; and his brother James "Red" Moran and his wife Evelyn of Monroe Township.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Selover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1 Kirkpatrick Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

Dan was a very devoted husband to my dear friend. Thank you, Dara, for all you have done for Pop Pop since your Grandmother's passing. They both loved you very much. Frank and I will never forget the special friendship we shared.

Danny was a great guy and I enjoyed his visits to Fire HQTRS.
He would stop by in the morning have a cup of coffee with us and share great stories of his time in the Fire Department. He will be remembered fondly by the NBFD.
