Daniel J. Moulds

Daniel J. Moulds, age 81, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, November 20, 2025. He was born on May 13, 1944, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Harold and Violet (Bright) Moulds.

Dan was a lifelong area resident, though he spent his teenage years in Arizona, where he graduated high school. After graduation, he returned to Niles, where he met the love of his life, Irene Guthrie. They were married on November 13, 1965 in Niles, MI., and just recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary - a milestone that reflected their enduring love and devotion.

Dan worked as a machine operator at Clark Equipment, where he was known for his dedication and hard work. Outside of his career, he had a passion for riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He and Irene shared many adventures together, taking memorable trips to Florida and the Upper Peninsula. His love for the open road and family vacations created cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene; his son, Gary; and daughter-in-law, Denise. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Melissa Moulds; and his brother, Gerald Moulds.

Funeral services for Dan will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Palmer Funeral Home – Hoven Chapel, 414 E. Front St., Buchanan, MI. Friends may visit with the family beginning one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.
