Daniel Mrochek, age 81 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. He was born Daniel Francis Mrochek a son of Daniel and Mary Ann (Ondic) Mrochek on July 7, 1944, in Monongahela, Pennsylvania.
Daniel was a retired Steel Worker who worked for US Steel’s Irvin Works in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. He loved to hunt, fish and snow ski.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Mrochek, a stepson, Jamie Cifra and a brother-in-law, Roger Opachick.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Patti (Opachick) Mrochek, a granddaughter, Breena Cifra, his sister, Betty Toth, sister-in-laws, Linda (Brent) Barbera and Donna Opachick and numerous nieces and nephews.
No funeral services are planned.
