He is survived by his loving mother, Denise Frazier Murphy; his grandmother, Mildred Scalercio; his children, Gezel Harris, Jayhla Murphy, and Daniel Murphy Jr.; his cherished grandchildren, Nadia and Josiah; his sisters, Shannon Murphy and Sheri Murphy Hawkins; and the mother of his children, Rebecca Pennington. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
