Daniel Lee Norton Sr., fondly known as Danny to loved ones, has left this world to rest in peace. He was born on August 9, 1950, in French Camp, California, and breathed his last on July 11, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Danny led a fulfilling life centered around hard work and dedication. He pursued a career as a production supervisor at Cabot Oil and Gas where he showcased his exceptional skills and commitment. Alongside his professional endeavors, Danny also proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and man of many talents and interests. Danny enjoyed various hobbies including working on old cars, woodworking, hunting, and fishing. His passion for these activities brought joy not only to himself but also to those around him.
Danny married Simone Cecilia Norton on March 17, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She passed away on February 11, 2017.
In the hearts of his family and friends, Danny's memory will continue to thrive. He is preceded in death by his parents James Franklin and Roberta Irene Norton, along with two brothers, Steve and James Odell Norton; and a sister, Alice Woods.
Leaving behind cherished memories are his beloved wife Vickie L. Norton of Sand Springs, OK; two sons, Daniel Lee Norton Jr. of Broken Arrow, OK; Justin Wayne Norton and his wife Cheryl of Colorado Springs, CO; as well as three surviving brothers.
To honor the life and legacy of Daniel Lee Norton Sr., a series of services will be held. The Book Signing will take place on July 17, 2024 from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton followed by visitation on July 18, 2024 from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. The funeral service will be held at Assembly of God Church in Hugoton on July 19, 2024 at 2 P.M. followed by a graveside service at Hugoton Cemetery.
May we remember Danny for the remarkable individual he was – full of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. May he rest in eternal peace knowing he was cherished by many.
