Daniel Earl Pearson, age 70, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 9, 1955, in Tarrant County, Texas, and grew up in Gold Hill, Oregon, where he attended Crater High School. Daniel lived much of his adult life in Dallas, Oregon, before retiring to Vancouver, Washington.
Daniel was known for his love of classic cars, his knack for storytelling, and his devotion to family. In his younger years, he was an accomplished athlete and a prolific runner, winning several awards. He also had a lifelong passion for aviation, earning his pilot's license at a young age, owning a small plane, and working at a local airfield in his early years.
Daniel spent much of his career at Georgia-Pacific, where he was well known and respected. In retirement, he found great joy in attending car shows and spending time with those he loved.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah "Samantha" Pearson.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer McLucas, Daniel Trace Pearson, Paul Taylor Pearson, Clark Joshua Berry, and Anusha Heuberger; his grandchildren, Analyn, Halia, Clark, Jonathan, Henry, Jane, Sophia, and Lily; as well as extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Daniel spent his later years living in Vancouver, Washington with family, where he was deeply loved.
