Daniel George Piercy

Daniel George Piercy, 56, of Charlotte, NC passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at his residence surrounded by family. Daniel was born on Sept. 3, 1966 in Greenbrier County, WVA to the late Marion and Brenda Daughtery Piercy. He loved the mountains where he was born and enjoyed hunting and fishing while growing up. Daniel was a hard worker at everything he did. He also enjoyed coaching his children's softball, baseball, and basketball teams throughout the years. He was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Terri Simms Piercy; his sons, Shane and Tyler Piercy; and daughter, Kelli Piercy Broome who he just walked down the aisle two weeks ago to her husband Nick; Sister, Pamela Flack (Doug); and brother, Mark Piercy (Renee); granddaughter, Raelee Piercy; several nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.
Services to celebrate Mr. Piercy's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly with Rev. Mike Pittman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville,. A visitation will also be on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home at, Rainelle.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, Memorial donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 5003 Hospice Lane. Kannapolis, NC 28081.
